Welcome to the first edition of the Grape Guru newsletter. Go easy on us, we’re just starting out and it’s a little project started by me, Matt Atkinson. This is a wine club for people who like wine, like exploring wine and trying interesting wines. The concept is pretty simple, each month we will create a wine selection for you. You select the option that you’d like and then each month we’ll hold a wine tasting where we’ll discuss the wine and then look forward to the next month’s wines. No subscriptions, just pay as you go.

We’ll try to give you 3 interesting facts about the region or the wine to impress your friends. All we ask is that you place an order by the 25th of the month and we will deliver (or you can pick up) your wines a few days later.

November 2021

This month we’re exploring one of our favourite wines, Rioja. From northern Spain, it offers a really great set of flavours, with options on aging and isn’t too strong. We’ve selected some young wines and some more mature options to help you spot the difference. We provide two set options, Option A (red) or Option B (white) as a mixed case of 6 (3 of each). This keeps it simple for us and enables us to keep the prices and overheads down. You could select both options TOO! 😊.
