What a crew turned out for the 2022 Christmas party. The journey continues!

It's fair to say that you guys like the 'free pour' style of event. More casual, relaxing, drop in and out of the wine jargon. I love them too.
It allows me to float and talk to people one on one and let's you catch up with your mates. This one, at Rae & Webb on Gillygate was lovely, relaxed and ran over like no other.
We explored our Christmas wine options and why you'd select certain wines for certain festive dishes, what works well and what to avoid. Pairing the wines to a lovely cheese board too!
The wine list was;
Gremillet Grand Cru Champagne, France
Macon Villages Reserve Personelle, 2018, France
Emilliana Casablanca Valley Chardonnay 2021, Chile
Vedhilon Viognier 'Serica' 2020, Pays d'Oc, France
The Underworld, Grenache Blanc, 2018, South Africa
Adobe Gewürztraminer 2020, Chile
Chenas, Cru de Beaujolais, 2021, France
Saint Amour, Cru de Beaujolais, 2020, France
Belleverne, Beaujolais Villages 2020, France

Langhe Nebbiolo 2018, Italy
Le Riche, Stellenbosch 2018, South Africa

The cheese/charcuterie plate was formidable with;
