Hi All,
This month we prepare for the summer and I have chosen a lovely combination of wines to drink in the cool evenings, but with some lovely transitions for the summer.
For example, the Appassimento and the Gavroche provide lovers of rich red wines the ability to curl up and drink in front of the fire, or with a hearty stew. The Cab Franc from the Loire offers a lighter option on the red side for an early evening light bodied red.
The Chardonnay (who doesn't love a Chardonnay) is crisp and bright with plenty of ripe stone fruit to be a great drinker. This one has no oak during fermentation, so very Chablis esque....
Then, for when the sun shines, we ave two beautiful Provencale roses for you. Nothing better for an aperitif or for the BBQ, which I promise is coming.
Big Love as always and drink safe,
Matt
xx
